Raw Chocolate Mousse with Berry Layers

  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 5 Medjool dates
  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2½ tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • ½ - 1 tablespoon honey (as you prefer)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla powder (or 1 tsp quality vanilla extract)
  • Fresh blueberries to serve
  1. Add blueberries to a small food processor and process for 30 seconds or until pureed
  2. Set aside and wash processor
  3. Pit dates and place into processor
  4. Scoop avocado flesh out and add to processor
  5. Add remaining measured ingredients
  6. Process for a minute or until smooth and creamy
  7. Store in the fridge or serve immediately by layering fruit and mousse
Can use frozen berries though thaw before using.
Vegans can use nut milk and maple syrup in this recipe.
