A monthly membership supporting you to unlearn diet culture, learn body connection and trust. The Food and Body Freedom membership is for you if you want to overcome your food and body struggles including food guilt, binge and emotional eating and poor body image.

This membership provides you with the accessible, ongoing, coaching, curriculum and community that you need to move past your struggles related to food and your body. All so that you can feel better in navigating daily choices and feel more confident in the way you show up in your body.

FEBRUARY - Food Guilt

Exploring why food guilt occurs on a macro and micro scale. All so you're in a more empowered position to begin challenging it with the tools and strategies offered in the curriculum.

MARCH - Body Image

Defining what body image is including the various elements of it at play in your life. So you can best utilise the guides, reflections and practices offered to improve your body image within an oppressive society designed to keep you stuck and small.

APRIL - Emotional Eating

Naming what emotional eating is and isn't so you can be clear on what's concerning you and be better positioned to utilise the emotional regulation skills. You'll be offered resources, practices and reflections that encompass nervous system regulation, radical self-care and food neutrality to overcome food behaviour that doesn't feel good to you.

MAY - Overcoming Fatphobia

Helping you join the dots as to why unpacking and moving past your own fatphobia is at the core of all food and body freedom work. Including lived-experience led training and activities from Vinny Welsby.

JUNE - Fullness

Guiding you to explore your experiences with fullness which include your experiences with hunger, radical self-care, emotional regulation and food neutrality. This exploration puts you in a better position to utilise the skills of fullness connection and reclaiming satisfaction as a core element.

WHO AM I?

I’m your guide – Nadia Felsch.
A university qualified Nutritionist (BHSc), Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and pawrent to 2 x sausage dogs named Toast and Avocado.
I support folks who aren’t happy with their relationship to food and body, find freedom - what works for them and how to do more of it - within oppessive structures such as patriarchy, colonialism, capitalism and anti-fatness. I’m your guide to this process of re-connecting with and trusting your innate body wisdom. The wisdom that knows what you need in order to nourish yourself and thrive.

Who is the Food & Body Freedom Membership for?

Food & Body Freedom Membership is for you if you're fed up and want to struggling with food and how you feel in your body. You want to unlearn diet culture in your life and learn body connection and trust with support, guidance and community along the way.

And you want this support to be accessible both in the content, schedule and investment level. Fitting the practical and transformative trainings into your schedule and feeling their benefit.

Food & Body Freedom Membership is for you want to create a healthier and more peaceful relationship to food and body so food doesn’t take up so much mental space, you experience more joy and wellbeing from the food you eat and a better overall quality of life. 

Do I have the time?

This curriculum is 100% self-study with ongoing access - so you can fit it in around your schedule. You could break the curriculum up into smaller time chunks such as 15mins here and there as you listen on the commute to work.

Our monthly group Q&A support call is 60-75mins and will also be recorded both for ongoing reference and if you can't make it live.

Our private group channel is a community where you can be as active as you would like - giving it and yourself as much time as works for you and again on your schedule.

For this time commitment, your entire life could change for the better. 

What if I don't like my body?

It’s so understandable that societally, our weight is tied to our body image or in how we feel about ourselves. Whilst having positive body image, does include liking and appreciating your body, trying to change your body will never truly improve how you feel about your body and yourself.

It will in fact do the opposite where by continually chasing the illusion of the ideal (thin body), means never truly having peace or acceptance for ourselves. We can spend our whole life there or we can choose to opt out of that societal norm and work on body respect and acceptance instead.

This resistance underpins all curriculum and coaching inside the membership - supporting your liberation within oppressive systems.

Will this work for me?

This unique membership and in-depth coaching puts you and your experience front and centre.

What if I’m an introvert?

Me too! I struggle to speak in groups. And you don't need to. After signing up for the membership you'll have the chance to share with me your preferences including whether or not you'd prefer to observe in group calls and not be called on.

Time and time again, it’s the group Q&A support calls that prove pivotal to the success of clients. It’s where you'll feel incredibly heard and supported by women who feel the exact same way that you do. This is especially vital to your food and body freedom journey when friends, family, colleagues (and everyone!) is often very entrenched in diet culture and you may feel alone.

How long does the membership run for?

We begin February 1st.

How long you remain inside is your call. The minimum commitment is 3-months and there is no maximum limit. 

How does the membership work?

On the 1st of each month you'll receive:

  • access to your self-study curriculum
  • access to our private group channel where I'll post weekly prompts supporting the curriculum 

During the 3rd week of each month we will have our group Q&A support call. This gives you 3 weeks to explore the monthly curriculum on your own schedule + share and support our community all before we come together and review the material and your experiences on our call.

Can I join the membership anytime?

No. Registration closes on January 31st 2023.

Registrations will not re-open until April 2023.

Is there ongoing access to the curriculum content?

Yes. You will have lifetime access to all membership curriculum and content including group call recordings. Everything is yours for the long-term even if you leave the membership (after your 3-month minimum).

How accessible is the content?

All curriculum contain either audio and/or captioned video components in addition to visual exercises and guides. So you can access the content how best suits your lifestyle, schedule and the way you like to take in knowledge.

When are the group calls? What if I can’t make them?

The calls will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6pm (AEDT/Sydney)

All live group calls are held via Zoom, recorded and sent to you afterwards with the option to submit a question beforehand should you not be able to attend live.

What happens on the live group calls?

These calls are an opportunity to dig deeper into the month's curriculum, share your experiences and receive my guidance to more smoothly navigate your experiences.

You can share as much or as little as you want to and you'll benefit from hearing others resonate your own experiences building community and offering healing.

You have thin privilege, how can you help me?

I do have thin privilege in addition to mutliple other body and identity privileges.

And that might mean I don't have your lived experience. I can never know it and I believe your experience. It’s the one that matters and the one this program will guide you back to again and again. 

Because of my privileges and limited lived experience of marginalisation, this program was intentionally created with a focus on intersectional lived-experience led learning, mentoring and training. Voices and perspectives that I centre, that inform my own and provide me a wider perspective in my commitment to providing anti-oppressive healthcare.

Practically speaking, all curriculum includes lived experience led-content and lived-experience auditing because it matters.

What happens inside the private group channel?

Our private group channel is where you'll be invited to build community with like-minded folks and where I’ll post prompts each week to support the monthly curriculum and be casually active throughout each month.

*I will be monitoring the group though not providing individual, scheduled coaching inside it. 

How is the membership anti-oppressive?

Inside the Food & Body Freedom membership, you’ll be exposed to the evidence-based frameworks of intuitive eating and non-diet nutrition which I root in an intersectional. anti-oppressive and client-centred lens.

Meaning we'll continue to name the systemic structures that got us here, upholding diet culture and keeping us stuck. We'll lay blame where it duly belongs and prioritise you nourishing your body even whilst living within these oppressive systems as is my commitment to anti-oppressive healthcare.

The curriculum and coaching are trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming and weight-inclusive.

No. This membership provides you with the accessible, ongoing, coaching, curriculum and community that you need to move past your struggles related to food and your body.
