Introduction
It's the categorising of bodies instead of the encouragement of them that causes poor body image in kids (and adults!). Which impacts how they show up at school, at home and for themselves. And yet we continue with a focus on "good" and "bad" foods and "good" and "bad" bodies. None of this is helping to grow body happy kids.
This episode explores:
- the importance of positive early messaging about food and bodies
- why positive body image benefits health and wellbeing
- the role we all play in this
- the obstacles to get there
