Ingredients
- 10 small-medium fresh basil leaves
- ½ punnet cherry or grape tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon red onion
- ⅓ cup buffalo mozzarella or ½ ball
- ½ teaspoon capers
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Wash, dry and tear basil leaves to release their flavour
- Wash and quarter tomatoes
- Finely dice onion
- Tear mozzarella into large chunks
- Arrange all ingredients on a plate
- Drizzle oil and balsamic over and season to serve
Notes
This is a lovely entrée or side dish and a true treat to the senses.
You could even serve to guests (or yourself!) with fresh sourdough bread.
